ISTT Holds the National Technology NEXT Award in December

The President of ISTT stated that the second National Technology NEXT Award event (Excellence in Entrepreneurial Innovation) will take place on December 18 and 19 in Isfahan, aimed at developing a portfolio of knowledge-based products by large and mature companies active in the technology sector, hosted by the Isfahan Science and Technology Town.
The event features large and mature companies in the technology sector. Moslehi also pointed out that there are over 700 knowledge-based companies in ISTT, creating jobs for more than 9,500 people.
Although we focus on k-based companies in this event, but one of the main goals of the event is to support non-knowledge-based companies active in the technology sector to expedite their activities, Moslehi added, emphasizing on the importance of the involvement of large industries in technology development in the country. Not only these industries resolve their technological needs, but they also help market development and synergy among the companies. They would also compete with each other on supporting k-based companies which is of course one of the main goals of the event.
Having high production potential, having a suitable track record and diverse products, having the TRL level of 4 and more, tech-based ideas, using cutting edge and innovative technologies and the market demand for their products are among the necessary conditions for the plans and participating companies to be accepted in NEXT Award.
The three main areas for this year's event include "advanced materials and manufacturing technologies", "microelectronics, optics and quantum technologies", and "biotechnology and precision medicine". This event could help address existing challenges in the country.
